Get CAMEO

Download the CAMEO Software Suite

From this page, you can download and install the CAMEO software suite by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the CAMEOfm and CAMEO Chemicals Download Page to get the CAMEOfm information management database and the CAMEO Chemicals program.
  2. Go to the ALOHA Download Page to get the ALOHA hazard modeling program.
  3. Go to the MARPLOT Download Page to get the MARPLOT mapping program.
Download LandView
  • LandView is an optional application that you can also download in addition to the CAMEO software suite. LandView allows you to obtain census population data for MARPLOT map areas (such as inside a threat zone or for any radius), and also for database and map records for the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and other EPA-regulated facilities.
  • You can download the  LandView 6 Prince William County Demo system at Census Bureau Exit EPA (14MB install file) from the Census Bureau LandView web site. After installing LandView, run MARPLOT from the LandView folder (c:\lv6a) rather than from the standard MARPLOT download in order to integrate the LandView map objects with CAMEO.  The complete LandView 6 system is available on DVD-ROM for the entire U.S. See http://landview.census.gov Exit EPA for the latest information. For those who need the population and other data in LandView but do not have a DVD reader, you can obtain LandView 5, which is available on CD-ROM by state. LandView 5 has the same basic population counts as LandView 6, but does not include additional socio-economic census data available in LandView 6.
Note: Much of the LandView functionality has been incorporated into MARPLOT versions since 4.0. However, LandView offers additional access to demographic and socioeconomic data, while MARPLOT is limited to total population and housing counts.  Additionally, be aware that MARPLOT has been upgraded to use data from the 2010 Census; LandView uses data from the 2000 Census.
CAMEO News Service

The CAMEO News Service is a one-way listserve which serves as a communication tool for CAMEO managers and developers to communicate important information to the CAMEO community. We anticipate regular communications, perhaps monthly, which will provide users with an up-to-date status on various aspects of the CAMEOfm/CAMEO Chemicals/MARPLOT/ALOHA software.
