Traveling back from Colorado to Oklahoma, central Kansas becomes a good stopping point in the middle of the trip. My family decided to swing through Abilene and visit this museum, and are glad we did! First of all, we have visited the George H.W. Bush Library in College Station Texas, and it was nice, but we really felt the DDE... more

We stopped on our way out to Denver, it was very worthwhile. Allow a couple of hours. There was a great museum, the boyhood home of the President and his family, the chapel where he and his wife and son are buried, and the Eisenhower Presidential Library. It's a very nice town and an enjoyable stopover. It makes historical figures... more
