Seasonal flu shots are being offered to enrolled veterans during scheduled clinic
appointments and in special flu shot clinics. If you have a scheduled appointment at any outpatient clinic after October 25, 2010 but
before March 31, 2011, you will be offered a flu shot while at your appointment. If you have already received the flu shot in your
local community, please tell your nurse so that your flu shot can be recorded in your medical record. If you are admitted to the hospital
after October 25, 2010 but before March 31, 2011 and have not had your flu shot please ask your nurse about the flu shot.
Please listen to the following flu shot schedules in making your plans to receive the flu shot.

Flu Shots will be offered at the VA MEDICAL CENTER (SHREVEPORT) per the following
schedule:
Flu Clinic (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday): October 26 through December 2: 1:00 p.m. to
3:00 p.m.(excluding federal holidays), (no appointment necessary).
Wednesday Flu Clinic: December 8 through December 29: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (no
appointment necessary).
*Please check in at the Information Desk in the main lobby.
Flu Shots will be offered at the LONGVIEW OUTPATIENT CLINIC, per the
following schedule:
Wednesday Walk-in Clinic: October 27 through December 29: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (no
appointment necessary).
Flu Shots will be offered at the MONROE OUTPATIENT CLINIC FLU, per the
following schedule:
Wednesday Flu Clinic: October 27 through December 39: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (no
appointment necessary).
Flu Shots will be offered at the TEXARKANA OUTPATIENT CLINIC, per the
following schedule:
Flu Clinic (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday): October 25 through December 30: 1:30 p.m.
to 3:30 p.m. (excluding Wednesdays and federal holidays). (No appointment necessary.)
