A Fort Leavenworth resident was confirmed to have viral meningitis on Dec. 12, 2012.

Nearly 335 military officers and interagency personnel – including 46 international officers from 46 countries – will graduate from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course on December 14, 2012.

Sgt. Michael J. Knapp, 1st Battalion (Air Assault), 377th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade, based in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., was killed in Asadabad, Afghanistan May 18. He deployed under Operation Enduring Freedom November 14, 2011.

Top international military leaders from Turkey, Republic of Moldova, and Trinidad and Tobago will be inducted into the International Officer Hall of Fame April 5 at 3 p.m. in the Eisenhower Auditorium of the Lewis and Clark Center here.
