What is Outreach?
- It is a process that is used to ensure that the programs, benefits, and
services of USDA Service Center Agencies in Wyoming are equitable and
available to every eligible client.
- It is a way of conducting business to ensure that the underserved and
un-served individuals and groups are made aware of, understand, and have a
working knowledge of USDA Service Center programs and services.
- It is the law. Title VI, Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC 2000 (d) –
2000 (d) (1); other laws and executive orders; Departmental Regulation
4300-3; and agency policy require the establishment of outreach programs at
the local level.
- It is the right thing to do.
