Please note that this system applies only to appointments at the U.S. Consulate in Merida, Yucatan

Who needs an appointment?

  • All U.S. passport applicants (first time, renewals).
  • Requests for additional blank pages to be added to a valid U.S. passport.
  • U.S. citizen parent(s) applying to register the birth of a child.
  • Applicants seeking notarial services (affidavits, acknowledgements, and true copies of documents).
  • Other types of services/in-person meeting requested by a U.S. citizen (select “Request notarial and other services not listed above” from the appointment page).

Make your appointment after you have filled out all forms, gathered all documents, have fee amount, and are completely prepared for the service you are requesting.

Appointment schedules apply to routine, non-emergency services.  U.S. citizens in need of emergency services may still come to the Merida Consulate during normal working hours (7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday except U.S. and Mexican holidays) without an appointment.
