American Citizen Services - Question Form

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Section at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, provides a broad range of services to the American citizens living in and travelling through Turkey. ACS is not an extension of the Embassy’s Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visa Sections and is unable to assist with questions pertaining to those areas. Please use this link only if your question involves an American citizen emergency, obtaining a United States passport, registering the birth or death abroad of an American citizen, or obtaining the services of an American notary public. Questions pertaining to visas must be submitted under those sections’ website links in order to receive a response.

Due to the tremendous volume of e-mails and phone calls, the American Citizens Services Section will only respond to questions that are related to these American Citizen Services.
