Starting in 2012 appointments are now required for all routine U.S. citizens services. This include passport renewals for adults and minors, report of birth abroad, adding visa pages, and notaries.

However, be assured that the new system will no way diminish the accessibility of the Consular Section for life or death emergency circumstances, which will continue to be taken on a walk-in basis.

It is possible to have several services during the same visit to the Embassy. Please make a seperate appointment for each individual service.

Scheduled appointments will be automatically cancelled for applicants who arrive more than fifteen minutes after their scheduled time. Applicants who arrive late will be required to make a new appointment via our website. Please plan accordingly, and arrive at the Embassy at least fifteen minutes before your appointment time to go through security and enter the waiting room.
