Hours of Operation
The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit of the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., except Thai and American holidays. We are also closed to the public on the last Friday of every month. You must have an appointment for non-emergency services. Appointments must be made on-line by clicking here.

Access Policy
Beginning February 4, 2013, our security personnel will only screen visitors who have business with the American Citizen Services Unit through the security checkpoint at the front entrance to our building. When the security checkpoint reaches its maximum screening capacity there are delays entering the building. This now happens frequently and interferes with those who have appointments or face legitimate emergencies. U.S. citizens are not allowed to enter the Consular Section with visa applicants unless they meet specific requirements and have advanced authorization from the Visa Unit. The entrance to ACS is located at 95 Wireless Road in Bangkok, opposite the main Embassy Building. The closest BTS Skytrain stop is Phloen Chit. Our address is:
