The Embassy can provide U.S. citizens with notary and authentication services for documents to be used in the United States. To find out whether the Embassy can perform such services for your document, please contact us directly.
During business hours, U.S. citizens should call 218 91 220 3239. After hours requests for emergency assistance should be directed to 218 91 379 4560. The consular section can also be reached by email at consulartripoli@state.gov. The Embassy's hours of operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday – Thursday.
