Welcome to the quick source for invasive species expertise and information at MSU!

Invasive species present one of today's most important environmental and social challenges. As a hub of international travel and commerce, Michigan and the Great Lakes region are particularly vulnerable to invasive species. Michigan State University has a diverse faculty and staff with internationally recognized expertise and programs on invasive species research, education and outreach.

NEW- Researchers are analyzing a database containing information about nonindigenous species found in Michigan. In addition to this work, a more detailed analysis of all nonindigenous plants in the state is being conducted as well. Stay tuned for publication information!
