A specialist in the terrestrial infrared data
for sea surface temperature (SST) and land surface temperature (LST)
retrievals, with a PhD in Physics from the University of Karlsruhe /
Forschungszentrum Karlrsuhe, (FZK) Germany, Dr. Dash is a CIRA visiting
scientist at NOAA NESDIS. He earned his PhD in "Land surface emissivity
and temperature retrievals" while working at the FZK and also worked as
a project scientist and EUMETSAT visiting scientist, prior to joining
NOAA NESDIS.
