Rock Wall Certification Classes
GFAFB Fitness & Sports Center is now offering Rock Wall Certification Classes! If you have been wanting to try out our 42' rock climbing wall, now you can! We also had 3 auto belay systems installed, so now you even have the option to climb by yourself! Please contact the Fitness Center Front Desk at 747-3384 for more information and class dates/times.

Toastmasters
Toastmasters is an international group designed to help you become the speaker and leader that you want to be. Meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of the month in the classroom at the Community Activities Center from 12:05 to 12:55. A Call For Leaders ... Join The MTI Corps
If you've ever wanted to have the opportunity to mold tomorrow's Air Force, while earning an extra $450, consider becoming an Air Force Military Training Instructor (MTI). The Air Force is looking for highly motivated, SrA through Tech. Sgt. who are ready to take the lead. We invite you to participate in our five day shadow program so that you can experience the "Life as an MTI". The MTI Recruiting Team can answer any questions you may have concerning this challenging and rewarding career. Firing range off limits without appointment or valid reason
The firing range is off limits to all personnel without an appointment or valid reason. All personnel must report to the administrative building, building 652, prior to accessing the range. Live weapons firing is conducted on a daily basis and presents an extreme hazard to unannounced visitors. If you require access, contact the administrative office at (701) 747-6389 or (701) 747-3886 or in person. Duty hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. tabHousing Reminders and Notifications 
Discharging Sump Pumps
If you have water discharging from your sump pump, please connect your blue discharge hose to the sump pump connection outside your home.  Please check your crawl space to ensure there is no water. Extend the hose to the front or back yard and ensure there are no kinks.  If needed, extension hoses are available at the Self Help store. Call Self Help at 594-5480 or the Housing Office at 747-3035 if you have any questions.

Military Family Life Consultants available to help
Military Family Life Consultants available for all GFAFB employees Military Family Life Consultants can be found at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Parent & Child Center, Child Development Center, Youth Center and Dining Facility. MFLCs provide non-medical, short term counseling for any base employee who wants to talk or seek advice. The consultants are certified and licensed counselors, with a minimum of a Masters degree and three years of experience. For more information, call (701) 213-3446 for child and youth issues and (701) 213-0995 for adult issues.

Spouses Club hosts monthly meetings
The Grand Forks Air Force Base Spouses Club hosts monthly socials. The Enlisted and Officer Spouses Clubs have come together this year to support all spouses stationed at Grand Forks AFB.  Please join us at one of our monthly socials or game nights, which can be found on our website www.GFAFBSpousesClub.com.
