Over the course of nineteen months, the 35th Fighter Group moved five times to different locations around New Guinea. Consequently their facilities were rough to say the least. Cake Cutting

MISAWA AIR BASE JAPAN -- Lieutenant General Bruce Wright, 5th Air Force Commander and U.S. Forces Japan commander, and Airman First Class Charlesa Spann, 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron, cut the cake as part of the festivities at the 60th Air Force Ball on Misawa Air Base, Japan, Sept. 21.
