1/28/2013 - JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST -- The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Public Affairs team is scheduled to host a Community Outreach Volunteer Experience training session from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 30, 2013, in the Liberty Room at Tommy B's Community Activities Center.
COVE is a community relations program providing JB MDL personnel a platform to share personal experiences and tell the joint base story. Service members who participate in COVE will have the opportunity to partake in speaking engagements, base tours, media outreach events and host of other exciting volunteer activities.
The Joint Base Public Affairs office will host COVE training sessions quarterly. The sessions will include comprehensive training about the COVE program and a brief joint base windshield tour.
