Sharing Science with Schools

Sharing Science graphic

Sharing Science with Schools is designed to support and enhance science, mathematics, and technology instruction in our local schools and community by sharing information on current research and development activities conducted at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Volunteer presenters from the Laboratory give hands-on presentations related to their research and development activities that have significance in either the world of science, mathematics, engineering and technology or the current school curricula.

This includes presentations for (but not limited to):

  • K-12 classrooms
  • School science and/or career events
  • Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Achievement (MESA) workshops/conferences
  • Expanding Your Horizons (annual conference for 6-8th grade young women)
