Author of Laughing Boy (1929-Pulitzer Prize), Sparks Fly Upward (1931), All The Young Men (1939), The Enemy Gods (1937), As Long As The Grass Shall Grow (1941), The Copper Pot (1942) and The Eagle in The Egg (1949).
Personal and official papers relating to La Farge's World War II service. Includes official documents relating to the delivery to Cairo, Egypt of 16 B-24As in the fall of 1941. Also includes an article on the first phase of the North African Campaign as seen through the eyes of the Air Transport Command.
