Lineage. Constituted as 514 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 8 Sep 1950. Activated in the Reserve on 16 Oct 1950. Ordered to active service on 1 May 1951. Relieved from active duty on 26 Nov 1952. Inactivated on 1 Feb 1953. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Apr 1953. Redesignated as 514 Transportation Squadron on 8 Oct 1956. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963. Redesignated as 514 Logistics Readiness Flight on 4 Sep 2002. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 2002. Redesignated as 514 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 11 Feb 2011.
