Lineage. Constituted as Base Detachment, Gray Field on 20 Nov 1940. Activated on 8 Jan 1941. Redesignated as: 302 Air Base Squadron on 13 Jan 1942; 302 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 13 Jun 1942. Disbanded on 31 Mar 1944. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 302 Services Flight on 4 Sep 2002. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 2002. Redesignated as 302 Force Support Squadron on 15 Oct 2010.
