Lineage. Designated as 6952 Electronic Security Squadron, and activated, on 1 Jan 1982. Inactivated on 30 Sep 1993. Redesignated as 52 Expeditionary Intelligence Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 23 Jul 2010.
 
Assignments. 6910 Electronic Security Wing, 1 Jan 1982; Electronic Security, Europe (later, European Electronic Security Division), 1 Jan 1985; 693 Electronic Security Wing, 7 Jul 1988; 6950 Electronic Security Group, 23 May 1991-30 Sep 1993. Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency to activate or inactivate at any time on or after 23 Jul 2010.

Stations. RAF Alconbury, UK, 1 Jan 1982-30 Sep 1993.
