Lineage. Constituted as 17 Aviation Depot Squadron on 5 Dec 1956. Activated on 1 Jan 1957. Redesignated as 17 Munitions Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1960. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 25 Jun 1966. Activated on 1 Oct 1972. Inactivated on 30 Sep 1976. Redesignated as 17 Munitions Squadron on 15 Jun 2009. Activated on 1 Oct 2009.
