Lineage. Constituted as 407 Food Service Squadron on 13 Nov 1953. Activated on 18 Dec 1953. Inactivated on 1 Jul 1957. Redesignated 407 Services Squadron on 10 Oct 1984. Redesignated 407 Expeditionary Services Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 14 Apr 2003. Redesignated 407 Expeditionary Force Support Squadron on 1 May 2008. 

Assignments. 407 Air Base Group, 18 Dec 1953-1 Jul 1957. Air Combat Command to activate or inactivate at any time after 14 Apr 2003. 

Stations. Great Falls (later, Malmstrom) AFB, MT, 18 Dec 1953-1 Jul 1957.
