Rashi Venkataraman, MS: Ethics Policy Specialist (Presidential Management Fellow)

Rashi Venkataraman is a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) with the VHA’s National Center for Ethics in Health Care, where she works as an Ethics Policy Specialist. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Health Care Policy and Management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University, where she worked closely with the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC to create a comprehensive transition tool for pediatric patients with chronic conditions.

Prior to graduate school, Venkataraman traveled to Indonesia as a Fulbright Scholar where she taught in a public high school and acted as an ambassador from the United States. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Venkataraman double majored in Biology and Ethics, History, & Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. As an undergraduate, she completed a Friedman Fellowship with the National Women’s Health Network in Washington, D.C.
