Robin Cook, RN, MBA: Preventive Ethics Advisor

Robin CookRobin received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bellevue Community College, a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from City University. Ms Cook joined the Seattle VA in 1985 as a staff nurse. Ms. Cook held positions in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Nurse Manager before joining the Quality Improvement Department. In her 15 years with quality improvement, she has held positions as the Risk Manager/Patient Safety Manager, Customer Service Director and for the last 4 years has been the Director for Quality Improvement with oversight for Utilization Management, Patient Advocates, Safety, Patient Safety, Radiation Safety, Accreditation, and Performance Measures. Upon introduction of the IntegratedEthics program, Ms Cook added the Preventive Ethics Coordinator role which started her interest in quality improvement within ethics. Ms. Cook is currently assigned as the advisor for Preventive Ethics.
