Sample of Dutch Stamps

(return to steps)

Your new visa, passport and supporting documents such as petitions (I-797, DS-2019, etc.) if any, will arrive in the self-addressed stamped envelope you brought with you to the Consulate.  Please use only single stamps similar to the example that equal the amount of 7.70 Euros for each applicant. Any combination of stamps may be used but you may not use registered mail stickers. We generally are able to mail out the visaed passport/s within three to four work days after your interview.  Arrival after mailing is dependant on the Dutch postal system.  As it is registered mail, an adult will have to be home to sign for receipt of the package.

WE CANNOT SEND A PASSPORT ACROSS A BORDER AND WE CANNOT SEND YOU YOUR VISAED PASSPORT IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A SELF-ADDRESSSED ENVELOPE WITH YOUR APPLICATION. THE ENVELOPE MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT POSTAGE ON IT TO SEND IT BY REGISTERED MAIL TO AN ADDRESS IN THE NETHERLANDS!

Important Reminder

Delivery of registered mail usually takes 3-4 business days, but can take longer. The Consulate General cannot be held responsible for extra costs due to changing tickets or rebooking flights if delivery is delayed. We therefore strongly urge you NOT to purchase tickets until you have received your visa and passport in the mail.

When you have received your visa it is important to check it.  Click here to find out how.
