Announcements:

The Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command is transitioning the MyArmyLifetoo.com web site to its new Army OneSource web site, with completion by summer 2009. MyArmyLifetoo.com remains an active site during the transition period, but its appearance may change from time to time. MyArmyLifetoo.com has a link to the Army OneSource home page, where users may click for additional resources and information.

MyArmyLifetoo.com and Army OneSource each provide a comprehensive approach for community support and services to help maintain the readiness of individuals, Families and communities by developing, coordinating and delivering services which promote resiliency and stability during war and peace. American Red Cross (ARC): (http://www.redcross.org/ American Red Cross personnel form a global network in more than 700 U.S. chapters, 58 military installations worldwide, and in forward deployed locations in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq. American Red Cross services to Active Duty and community-based military includes emergency communications, access to financial assistance from the military aid societies, counseling, and referral to community resources. The American Red Cross also provides services to veterans.

Army Behavioral Health: (http://www.behavioralhealth.army.mil/) This site provides resources and information regarding mental well-being for Soldiers, civilians, and their Family members. Provided by the U.S. Army Medical Department, it is intended for interested Soldiers, civilians, Family members, the public, news media and Army Medical Department Beneficiaries.

Army Community Covenant: (http://www.acsim.army.mil/community_covenant/) The Army Community Covenant is designed to develop and foster effective state and community partnerships with the Army in improving the quality of life for Soldiers and their Families, both at their current duty station and as they transfer from state-to-state.

Army Emergency Relief (AER): (http://www.aerhq.org/) AER is a private nonprofit organization incorporated in 1942 by the Secretary of War and the Army Chief of Staff. AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization that is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of Its Own". AER funds are made available to commanders having AER Sections to provide emergency financial assistance to Soldiers (active and retired) and their dependents when there is a valid need. AER services also include Family member scholarships (Dependent Children Scholarship Program, Overseas Spouse Education Assistance Program, and Stateside Spouse Scholarship Assistance Program).

Army Medical Department Center and School: (http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/) The U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S) is the largest military school of allied health in the free world, training nearly 25,000 students in resident courses and 15,000 in correspondence work each year. The AMEDDC&S also has command and control of the U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston.

Army OneSource: (http://aos.myarmylifetoo.com/) Army OneSource provides access to all Family programs and services, regardless of geographical location. This delivery system harnesses the resources that are already in place and uses personal contact and technology to improve on the delivery of service so that Families get support closest to where they live.

Army Wounded Warrior (AW2) Program: (https://www.aw2.army.mil/) The Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) serves the most severely wounded, injured or ill Soldiers and their Families and helps them with their transition back into civilian or military life. AW2 has AW2 Advocates located at all major military treatment facilities (MTFs) and VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) who provide on the ground support to wounded, injured, or ill Soldiers with disability ratings of 30% or more. AW2 serves Soldiers and their Families for however long they are needed.

Child, Youth and School (CYS) Services: CYS programs offer care at all ages (0-18), in many forms (facilities, homes, and community partnerships), in all locations, and for every mission. CYS programs are designed to meet the individual and developmental needs of the whole child. CYS programs promote and support each child's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative and language development.
