Travel Information

The United Kingdom benefits from generally low crime rates.  Overall crime rates have declined during the last decade; however, according to Metropolitan Police statistics, serious crime (i.e., assault, robbery, burglary, gun-enabled crime, rape) increased in 2009.  As with any major metropolitan or unfamiliar area, Americans are urged to be cautious and aware of their surroundings at all times.

In a medical emergency, or if you need the police, dial 999.
