Over the years the U.S. Commercial Service in the Netherlands has served numerous U.S. companies. We are proud that we have been able to create added value to U.S. businesses by identifying trade opportunities, finding Dutch trading partners, launching U.S. companies, and obtain valuable market research reports. Below are some of our success stories: 

Single Company Promotion

2011: In February 2011, the U.S. Commercial Service in the Netherlands organized a seminar on behalf of Home Instead Senior Care.  The purpose was to inform Dutch entrepreneurs of current challenge with elderly care in the Netherlands and to present the business opportunities this challenge offers. As a result of our efforts, Home Instead Senior Care has been able to sign a Master Franchisor for the Netherlands.  

Due Diligence

2011: Meyer Industries is a leading player in the bulk material handling industry and provides equipment to eliminate burrowing animals. Early 2011, Meyer Industries contacted the U.S. Commercial Service with a request for background information on a potential Dutch partner. As a result of our research and positive recommendation, Meyer proceeded to sign a partnership agreement with the Dutch company, Traas Ongedierte Bestrijding, in 2011.   

International Partner Search

2012: The U.S. Commercial Service in the Netherlands completed an International Partner Search in February, 2012, for Lightning Eliminators & Consultants, Inc. (LEC), a Boulder, CO designer and manufacturer of lightning protection, grounding and surge protection equipment for industrial applications.  LEC signed a distribution agreement with one of the Dutch prospects we identified.  

Certified Trade Show in Europe

2011:  The U.S. Commercial Service in the Netherlands participated in the showcase Global Medica Program. Medica in Dusseldorf is the world's largest trade fair featuring medical devices with over 500 American exhibitors. During the event, Dutch commercial specialist Alan Ras worked with the Commercial Service Medical Team’s 'Showtime' program and held  pre-scheduled Showtime meetings with ‘New-to-Market’ American exporters to counsel them on the Dutch medical market.
