Throughout the year, the U.S. Embassy offers various open grant opportunities that aim to provide local organizations with funds in support of projects that help advance key strategic objectives in Malaysia.  Below, please find information and applications for current Embassy-offered grant opportunities. 

Call For Proposals

Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) - Large Grant (USD$500,00 to 1,000,000): The Fund was established to help countries preserve cultural heritage to demonstrate U.S. respect for other cultures. The Fund is aimed at preserving cultural sites or objects that have a historical or cultural significance to the cultural heritage of Malaysia. Proposals for 2013 are due by February 04, 2013. Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation 2013:  The Fund supports a wide range of projects to preserve cultural heritage, such as the restoration of historic buildings, assessment and conservation of museum collections, archaeological site preservation, documentation of vanishing traditional craft techniques, improved storage conditions for archives and manuscripts, and documentation of indigenous languages.   (Information | Application | Budget Template) Deadline: CLOSED
