Economic Affairs Section
 

The Embassy's Economic Affairs Section is responsible for monitoring and managing the full range of economic relations between the U.S. and Serbia.

The Economic Section provides first-hand information and expert analysis on current economic and financial developments in Serbia. The section supports visiting U.S. government delegations and maintains regular contact with a variety of Serbian government institutions, American and Serbian business organizations, think-tanks, and non-governmental organizations. The section serves as an advocate for U.S. economic and business interests in Serbia and works to explain U.S. economic policies and financial regulations to Serbian audiences. Additionally, the Economic Affairs Section works to actively promote Secretary Clinton’s Economic Statecraft initiative in Serbia.
