Serbian Minister of Defense and Charge d’Affaires Visit Rehabilitated Elementary Schools and Kindergartens

Serbian Minister of Defense Sutanovac, Charge d’Affaires Brush and uniformed members of the Armed Forces of the United States and Serbia.

On Monday, August 24th, Charge d'Affaires Jennifer Brush and Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac will visit reconstructed kindergartens "Bambi" and "Neven" in Prokuplje and elementary school "Mitropolit Mihailo" in Trubarevac village, Soko Banja municipality.

This summer, uniformed members of the Armed Forces of the United States and Serbia engaged in a number of combined Humanitarian Assistance (HA) projects rehabilitating elementary schools and kindergarten facilities.

The U.S. Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation is completing six engineer/construction projects in Lapovo, Soko Banja, Prokuplje, Varvarin, and Pirot municipalities with a total value of one million USD.

Ministry of Defense will provide transportation from Belgrade and Nis:

Belgrade: Departure on Monday August 24th at 06:30 am in front of Ministry of Defense, Bircaninova 5. Journalists using their own vehicles should be at kindergarten "Bambi", address Nemanjina 7, Prokuplje on Monday August 24th, at 11:00 am and at school "Mitropolit Mihailo" in Trubarevac village, municipality Soko Banja, at 2 pm. Minister Sutanovac and Charge Brush will give remarks at both locations.
