St. Mark's Coptic Cathedral Welcomes the U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission

Alexandria – During a trip to Alexandria on December 20, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Marc Sievers from U.S. Embassy Cairo visited Abuna Rewees Morqos, Emissary of Pope Shenouda of the Coptic Church.

“This meeting reaffirms the U.S. belief and support for a religiously diverse Egypt that represents all its citizens," DCM Sievers explained to the Coptic representatives present.

After his meeting, DCM Sievers toured St. Mark's Coptic Cathedral.
