VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS) currently has 54 fulltime staff providers, of those, 80 percent are board certified. All VANIHCS providers are board eligible, which means full training has been completed. While most providers achieve board certification it is not a requirement.

On Monday, December 3, 2012, VANIHCS, Fort Wayne campus re-opened the Acute Care Unit (ACU).
