U.S. Culture Days in Turkmenistan
From November 23 – 25, the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan staged American Culture Days in Ashgabat and other regions of the country. For three days, American artists, musicians, scientists, and jewelers brought American culture to Turkmenistan via film showings, art exhibitions, public performances, symposiums, and concerts. Funding for these events had been made possible by contributions from ExxonMobil, Chevron, and the Ashgabat-Albuquerque Sister Cities partnership.
