• Annual Meeting and Clinical Laboratory Expo of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC)

The Annual Meeting of the AACC is the world’s largest meeting devoted to diagnostic products for diagnosing diseases and measuring health status. Although the focus is on laboratory testing, the event increasingly emphasizes near-patient testing, patient self-testing, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products, which are of interest to developers and manufacturers of diagnostic products. A unique feature of the AACC Exposition is the OEM section which is, in effect, a trade show for companies which sell their products to IVD manufacturers. The annual American Film Market® (AFM), organized by the Independent Film & Television Alliance, is the largest gathering of film industry professionals in the Western Hemisphere. The AFM is a global marketplace for films from big budget blockbusters to art films to genre films. This bi-annual show, certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce and Approved by the U.S. Department of Defense, is strongly supported by the Kingdom of Morocco in its effort to become an aviation sales/service/training hub for the region.  Air chiefs from more than 40 countries African and Middle Eastern countries attended the latest edition of this show in April 2012.  The U.S. Commercial Service recruited a U.S. Pavilion in 2012, and intends to grow the number of U.S. exhibitors significantly in 2014, including civilian and defense aircraft, parts and service vendors.
