Before you can start using SAVE to verify the
immigration status of benefit applicants, you
need to register your agency and determine if it is eligible for access.
To qualify to use SAVE, your agency must be
a federal, state or local government agency or
licensing bureau that provides a public benefit
or license, or is otherwise allowed by law to
engage in an activity where the verification of
immigration status is appropriate.
