U.S. citizens are strongly advised to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program in order to receive important information issued by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Luanda during your stay in Angola. By enrolling you will become part of the warden system that provides security information, news and information distributed through the designated wardens throughout the country. 

To enroll you can either come to visit the U.S. Embassy Consular Section located at Rua Houari Boumedienne 32, in the Miramar section of Luanda to enroll (PDF 797K) personally with us and give us permission (PDF 706K) to keep your family and friends informed about you.

If you are enrolled, please encourage friends and other new arrivals to do so also online and personally at the Embassy.
