The Army Arsenal Support Program Initiative (ASPI) promotes the commercial use of underutilized capacity at arsenal facilities. The program features flexibility and innovative business practices encourage partnerships between the government, commercial interests and state/local interests.

ASPI offers incentive funding that is used to renovate and modernize the facilities, including manufacturing, warehouse, and administrative space.

Overall, the ASPI program is a "sure fire" proposition. The government's costs are reduced and with ASPI incentives, the typical ASPI tenant also sees an improved bottom line.

At Rock Island Arsenal we currently have 16 facility use agreements in place. These companies employ over 170 personnel and currently lease over 49,000 square feet.
