Thank you for your interest in doing business in Botswana. Two of my highest priorities in Botswana are promoting U.S. business interests and helping Botswana preserve its economic prosperity by diversifying its economy away from diamonds.

As a country with one of the fastest growth rates in per capita income globally over the last 50 years, I believe that Botswana represents an excellent business opportunity for many U.S. businesses.

Botswana is a relatively untapped market for U.S. business with significant commercial opportunities in the mining and solar energy fields, as well as a growing business and financial services sector. With a developed infrastructure and a location in the center of the growing Southern African Trade Region, Botswana provides access to a market of over 277 million consumers.
