Diversity Supplements in Emerging Technologies

As part of its commitment to fostering diversity of training and education in cross-cutting, next-generation technologies, the IMAT Program – in collaboration with the Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities – provides supplemental awards to its investigator communities to increase the recruitment, retention, and training of pre and post-doctoral students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Such awards are made to qualified IMAT investigators and can be used to support the training and education (in emerging technologies) of up to two individuals per investigator. Profiles of specific students supported by these awards are forthcoming.
