Lineage. Established as 99 Air Base Group on 27 Dec 1941. Activated on 2 Jan 1942. Redesignated as 99 Service Group on 14 Jul 1942. Inactivated on 10 Jul 1944. Disestablished on 10 Mar 1945. Reestablished, redesignated as 99 Combat Support Group, and activated, on 9 Nov 1967. Organized on 2 Jan 1968. Inactivated on 31 Mar 1974. Redesignated as 99 Support Group on 25 Sep 1995. Activated on 1 Oct 1995. Redesignated as 99 Mission Support Group on 20 Sep 2002.
