Lineage. Established as 911 Operations Group, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Aug 1992. 

Assignments. 911 Airlift Group (later, 911 Airlift Wing), 1 Aug 1992-. 

Components. Squadron. 758 Airlift: 1 Aug 1992-. 

Stations. Greater Pittsburgh (later, Pittsburgh) IAP-ARS, 1 Aug 1992-. 

Commanders. Lt Col Gregory V. Vroegindewey, 1 Aug 1992; Lt Col Zachary T. Prescott, 17 Apr 1994; Lt Col Leslie R. Anzjon, 20 Dec 1998-. 

Aircraft. C-130, 1992-.
 
Operations. Activated to control the flying operations of the 911th Airlift Wing, 1992-. Periodically deployed personnel and aircraft worldwide, including Southwest Asia area and the Balkans, to support allied operations and U.S. humanitarian efforts.
