(1) - All FY2008 available PLHD funds were designated for specific projects by Congress in the joint explanatory statement accompanying the FY2008 Consolidated Appropriations Act (Public Law 110-161).
(2) - SAFETEA-LU authorized $98.6 million for PLHD for FY 2008.  After the rescission of $21,264,182 required by Section 186 of the Division K of the FY2008 Consolidated Appropriations Act (Public Law 110-161), and takedowns of 0.5% for Lake Tahoe transportation planning activities required by Section 101(n) of the SAFETEA-LU Technical Corrections Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-244), and 7.7% for FY2008 obligation limitation lop-off under SAFETEA-LU Section 1102(f), $70,925,921 is available for PLHD projects.  Per Section 186 of Division K of the FY 2008 Consolidated Appropriations Act, all of the projects were designated for funding at the level of 98 percent of the corresponding amounts identified in the Joint Explanatory Statement accompanying that act.
