New Small Business Center to Serve West Central Region

The U.S. DOT Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is pleased to announce that the Colorado Contractors Association (CCA) near Denver will serve as the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) for the West Central Region covering Colorado, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.

“We are very pleased to have the Colorado Contractors Association join our team.  CCA will allow the Department to better serve the small businesses in the region, and CCA’s network and expertise are a welcome addition to our program," remarked OSDBU Director Brandon Neal.

The purpose of the SBTRCs is to offer a comprehensive delivery system of business training, technical assistance, and dissemination of information targeted towards transportation-related small business enterprises within their regional areas. The SBTRCs further the mission of the OSDBU to increase the number of small businesses that are prepared to compete for, and enter into, transportation-related prime and subcontract opportunities.  There are 11 SBTRCs covering all 50 states and U.S. territories.
