Many American Citizen Services are also available at our Consular Offices located throughout France.
Security at the Embassy
For security reasons, do not bring luggage including large backpacks, laptop computers, or large cameras. Security guards will hold small tourist cameras and cell phones until your departure, but there is no storage available for other items — please do not bring them to the Embassy.

Step Program
- Living in France, or traveling around the globe − American citizens may enroll in the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive travel updates, assistance in emergency situations, and routine embassy information.
