Transition of MODIS Data Services from the GES DAAC to MODAPS at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD

Effective August 9, 2006, the MODIS Adaptive Processing System (MODAPS) will
become the source for MODIS Collection 5 Aqua Level 1 (L1) and Atmospheres
data products. All Collection 5 Aqua L1 products previously available from
the GES DAAC will be available through MODAPS and the GES DAAC will stop
distribution services for all MODIS Aqua Collection 5 products on
August 16, 2006.
