Molecular brain neoplasia data analysis (REMBRANDT portal)

Access and analyze a national database of molecularly characterized adult and pediatric primary brain tumors and correlate those data with extensive retrospective and prospective clinical data through REMBRANDT (REepository of Molecular BRAin Neoplasia DaTa).

The REMBRANDT project is a joint effort of the NCI and National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to develop and provide a national database to help uncover the underlying causes of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cancer. Learn more about the REMBRANDT project.

Currently available data

The REMBRANDT portal provides access to gene expression data, copy number variation data, and corresponding clinical outcomes data from patients with glioblastoma (GBM) (as of 7/27/10).

Types of analysis

  • Access and integrate molecular data with clinical outcomes
  • View Kaplan Meyer survival graphs
  • Conduct Principle Component Analysis (PCA) on gene expression data
  • View copy number variation data

Use the REMBRANDT portal

The best way to get started is to visit the REMBRANDT portal and identify your areas of interest.
