Videos

The Information Resource Center has a number of videos on different topics about the United States and also on other global issues. These videos are all available on loan to schools in Hong Kong and Macau. To assist the students to better understand the messages carried by the videos, we can also arrange speakers to talk to the students on related subjects. Please take a look at our video list and select the one that is useful to your school and let us know.

Free Publications

To help people from the other countries to understand the United States better, the International Information Programs of the U.S. Department of State has published a number of books and pamphlets on different aspects of the United States. If your school is interested in obtaining them for your students, please send your request to usvia email or fax.

Learning American English

It is only through a thorough understanding of each other's cultures that we can establish and maintain a foundation of international cooperation and trust. The U.S. Department of State's Office of English Language Programs provides teachers and students from around the world with English learning materials.
