Consular Section Contact Information

If you have questions or concerns about American Citizen Services, visas to the U.S., or immigration to the U.S., please contact the Consular Section through the following means:

Non-Immigrant (Temporary Stay) Visa Unit:

  • Hours of Operation for Services:
    • Sunday through Thursday mornings by appointments. (except official holidays and the First Monday of the month)
    • Passport Collection is Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 - 3:30 pm. 

Immigrant (Permanent Stay) Visa Unit:

  • Telephone:   (974) 4496 6089 (from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.)  
  • Hours of Operation for Services: Sundays by appointment only.  

American Citizen Services Unit:

  • Telephone:  (974) 4496 6089 (From 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.)  
  • For 24 Hour Emergency Assistance: Call (974) 4496-6000 to reach the Duty Officer.
  • Hours of Operation for Services:
    • Emergency services are available around the clock. 
    • Routine services are available by appointment only on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday American
    • Passport Collection is on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

  • Hours of Operation for public: Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4pm.

Note: Please remember that the Consular Section is not open on official U.S. and Qatari Holidays.
