2012 U.S. Business Exhibition in Turkmenistan

The U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan, jointly with the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will organize the 2012 U.S. Business Exhibition and conference in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on May 3-5, 2012.

Turkmenistan is one of the fastest growing economies in the region and a key player in the energy sector. Possessing the world’s fourth-largest natural gas reserves, the country has ambitious plans to modernize and diversify its economy. Turkmenistan strives to attract foreign investment and introduce advanced technology in all sectors of the economy and government. 

The exhibition will showcase U.S. goods and services and provide a unique entrée into Turkmenistan’s developing market. The Exhibition program will include a business forum and networking events to provide opportunities for establishing relations with decision-makers in the Turkmen Government and business community.

More than 60 U.S. companies participated in the 2011 U.S. Business Exhibition and attended more than 100 meetings with government officials. The Exhibit also served as a platform for matchmaking U.S. companies with potential local partners and distributors.
